It is located in Thirumangalakudi, that is just 2 km from Aduthurai, 13 km from Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District. The college has got approval from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and its affiliation from Anna University, Trichirapalli. The college is located in a lush green environment. The location of the college is well known for Tamilnadu Rice Research Institute and there are many pilgrim centers
